Ottaviano was the focus of an extraordinary territorial control operation coordinated by the San Giuseppe Vesuviano police headquarters, with officers from the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Local Police working together.
According to the reported results, officers identified 158 people, of whom 33 were found to have police records. They also checked 82 vehicles.
One vehicle was subject to an administrative immobilization measure. Officers issued four violations of the Highway Code and withdrew one driving licence.
During the operation, a foreign citizen was taken to a repatriation detention centre. The checks also covered ten people subject to restrictive measures or alternatives to detention.
