Terzigno hosted a public meeting titled "Ascoltare prima che sia tardi" — Listen before it is too late — focused on bullying and adolescent vulnerability.
The meeting took place in the Sala Consiliare and brought together psychologists, school representatives, legal professionals, journalists, local institutions, students, families and social workers for a discussion on prevention and youth distress.
The central message was the need to listen to young people and recognize early signs of difficulty before they become more severe. The discussion framed school, families and social services as part of a shared support network, rather than placing responsibility for prevention on schools alone.
Those taking part included psychologist Rosalba Giampietro, school head Lucia Massimo, special guardian Carmen Dello Iacono, journalist Giovanna Salvati, lawyer Nicoletta Ranieri, moderator Sonia Napolitano, theatre performer Nando Zanga, Terzigno mayor Salvatore Carillo and social-policy councillor Angela Oreste.
According to Metropolis Web, the event followed local concern after a 14-year-old student was found at school with a knife, an episode that helped prompt the discussion on youth fragility and prevention.
