Paid parking returns to more streets in Torre del Greco on 16 October 2026, extending blue-line zones into five outlying areas despite resident protests, petitions and requests for talks with the municipal administration.

The five areas entering paid parking are via Alcide De Gasperi, via Nazionale, San Gennariello, via De Curtis and via Purgatorio.

Rates, passes and hours

The reported tariff is €1 per hour, with a minimum payment of €0.50.

Monthly subscriptions are reported at €80 for parking on a single street and €100 for the entire municipal territory.

Reported enforcement hours are seasonal: 08:00–13:00 and 15:00–20:00 from 22 September to 20 May, and 08:00–13:00 and 16:00–21:00 from 21 May to 21 September.

What stays free

White parking spaces remain free, as do yellow spaces reserved for vehicles serving disabled people displaying the required permit.

Two streets named in the wider parking plan, Via Litoranea and Via Onorevole Crescenzo Mazza, are not becoming paid yet because the streets have not been delivered. Parking there remains free until a later measure takes effect.

The local report mentions possible further concessions for residents and lower tariffs raised by the mayor, but does not establish that those changes have been formally adopted.
