Boscoreale inaugurated the De Falco school complex on 5 October 2026, at the start of the school year, returning a renovated public building to the town's youngest pupils.

The complex will accommodate approximately 250 preschool children from Istituto Comprensivo 1 Cangemi, divided into 14 classes. The building previously housed the municipal nursery and has been adapted for preschool use.

Renovation work covered both classrooms and outdoor areas. The project was carried out by the municipal technical office in coordination with the school, according to local reports on the inauguration.

The opening involved representatives of the municipality and the school community, including headteacher Carmela Mascolo and mayor Pasquale Di Lauro.

Di Lauro said the administration's next objective is to seek regional funding for the recovery of another school building in the town, identified in local coverage as the Santa Maria Salome/Salone complex. The exact official name of that future project was reported differently across sources and remains to be confirmed by the municipality.

No total cost, detailed list of works, or completion timeline for the De Falco renovation was given in the reports available.
