The Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli will hold MANNight on Saturday 17 October 2026, part of its wider MANNight programme of extraordinary evening openings.

The concept, presented by the museum as “when the future meets the past,” opens the archaeological collections to contemporary artistic languages. The programme includes music, dance, digital and multimedia art, tableaux vivants, bodypainting, DJ sets, and interactive performances staged across different areas of the museum.

Performances begin at 20:30 and recur at intervals through the evening, allowing visitors to encounter them while moving between collections.

For this evening opening, the museum stays open continuously until 23:30, with last admission at 22:30. Standard evening admission is reduced to 10 euros from 19:00, subject to applicable free-entry exemptions.

The broader MANNight programme also includes a “Docubeat” by Club Tasso, described as an audiovisual collage combining musical genres with voices from visitors and museum staff, alongside DJ stations inside and outside the museum and aperitifs in the garden.

The museum is at Piazza Museo 18/19, 80135 Napoli. The exact performance lineup for 17 October has not been detailed in the official pages retrieved so far, so visitors planning around a particular act or installation should check the museum’s official event page closer to the date.
