The Prefettura di Avellino is extending digital appointment booking to all of its public counters from 9 November, according to reporting by IrpiniaNews.
The extension follows an experimental phase that began on 1 July at two offices: the Ufficio Patenti and the Ufficio Cartelle Esattoriali. The Prefettura's own service page confirms that the online system was initially activated for those two offices.
From 9 November, the same booking method will apply across all Prefettura counters. The local report does not list each office involved individually.
How the online booking works
The Prefettura's official service page describes a booking process built around four steps:
- Select the service you need.
- Choose from the available dates and times.
- Receive confirmation of the booking.
- Modify or cancel the booking if plans change.
The system is presented as part of the administration's wider effort to digitalize and simplify access to its services.
What to prepare before you go
Users are asked to arrive a few minutes early for their appointment and to bring the documentation required for their procedure.
The official material does not specify a minimum arrival time, nor does it list the documents required for each type of procedure. Before booking, check the service description for the office handling your case so you bring the correct paperwork.
The Prefettura's online booking page is the reference point for available services, open dates and times, and for managing an existing reservation.
