According to IrpiniaNews, a 34-year-old man from Cervinara, identified by the initials F. L., was arrested in a drug-related investigation led by the Questura di Benevento.

The report says the case began with a check in Benevento, where another passenger was found in possession of drugs. A subsequent search of properties linked to F. L. reportedly uncovered approximately 11 kg of hashish and marijuana, divided into packages.

Police also seized around 10,000 euros in cash and two mobile phones, according to the same report.

The Tribunale di Benevento has since replaced pre-trial custody in prison with an obligation to remain in the municipality, following arguments presented by the defence lawyers, IrpiniaNews reports.

No official court order or police statement was available in the research to independently verify the details, and the report does not indicate a final outcome or any finding of criminal responsibility.
