A 48-year-old man from Castellabate, in the province of Salerno, has been arrested over alleged mistreatment of his two elderly parents and taken to the prison in Vallo della Lucania.
According to Il Mattino Salerno, investigators reconstructed a series of alleged incidents involving both parents inside the family home, describing conduct that allegedly continued over time.
The precautionary detention measure was issued by the judge for preliminary investigations at the request of the Prosecutor's Office of Vallo della Lucania. The investigation was conducted by the Castellabate Carabinieri station, under the coordination of the Agropoli Company.
