A chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles injured seven people on the A2 Autostrada del Mediterraneo, in the southbound direction near Campagna, shortly before the Contursi Terme exit.
According to the report from Il Mattino Salerno, three cars and one van were involved in the collision. Seven people were injured, with none reported to have suffered serious injuries.
Emergency medical service 118 transported the injured to hospitals in Eboli and Salerno.
The Polizia stradale is investigating the causes of the crash. ANAS technicians were also present at the scene.
