A 75-year-old woman was rescued in Vallo Scalo after suffering a medical emergency at home during the night.
According to Il Mattino Salerno, the woman fell inside her apartment and was left unable to get up. Firefighters reached her by creating access through a balcony.
Medical personnel treated her at the scene, carried out an initial assessment, and then transferred her to San Luca Hospital in Vallo della Lucania for further care.
No further details about her condition after admission have been reported, and the woman has not been identified by name.
In a separate intervention in Quattro Ponti, in the municipality of Casal Velino, emergency teams responded after a daughter said she had been unable to contact her father. The call proved to be a false alarm: the man was at home and asleep.
