A road accident in Serre has left one person dead and two others injured and hospitalized.
The crash involved a van carrying three people. According to Il Mattino, the vehicle overturned. The driver died at the scene before emergency responders could intervene.
The other two occupants suffered serious laceration-contusion injuries. They received initial treatment at the scene and were then transported to hospital.
Emergency assistance included a Croce Rossa ambulance, a VOPI ambulance, an emergency medical vehicle, and coordination by the 118 operations centre.
The Carabinieri examined the scene to reconstruct the dynamics of the crash and determine its causes. The report does not identify the people involved, and the cause and detailed dynamics remained under investigation.
