Carabinieri arrested a 22-year-old in Acerra after a search of his home uncovered drugs packaged for sale and a pistol, according to reporting by Il Mattino.

Investigators reported finding a total of 739.6 grams of suspected drugs: 403.5 grams of marijuana, 335.5 grams of hashish and 0.6 grams of cocaine.

The marijuana had been divided into 58 doses plus two larger packages, while the hashish had been divided into 41 doses plus two blocks. Some of the marijuana was packaged in pink sachets bearing the label "Rozay," a detail presented in the report as an example of branded street-drug packaging.

The search also found a Browning 7.65 pistol, eight 7.65-calibre rounds and one 9 Luger round.

Laboratory analysis was still needed to establish the precise composition of the seized substances, and checks on the provenance of the firearm were under investigation. The available reporting does not establish the final laboratory findings, whether the weapon was functional, or the legal outcome of the arrest.
