A 22-year-old man of Senegalese origin was injured in a stabbing in Piazza Nicola Amore in Naples.
According to Il Mattino, the young man was found with wounds to his back and arms that caused heavy bleeding.
Emergency medical personnel from the 118 Municipio station provided initial treatment at the scene. The injured man was then transferred to Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital for further treatment and examinations.
Law-enforcement authorities are investigating the circumstances and possible background of the attack. The identity of the attacker, the motive, and the victim's later medical condition have not been reported.
