Carabinieri on Procida arrested two men, aged 26 and 35, after a mailed parcel led officers to more than 220 grams of hashish and 6,820 euros in cash.

The first check took place near the postal sorting center on Via Vittorio Emanuele. According to the reported accounts, officers stopped the 26-year-old as he left the facility carrying a still-wrapped box. Inside the box was a 102-gram block of hashish.

A subsequent search at the younger man's home found an additional dose of the same substance.

Investigators then searched the home of the 35-year-old, where they seized 121 grams of hashish and 6,820 euros in cash. The total hashish seized therefore exceeded 220 grams: the 102-gram block from the parcel, plus the additional dose, plus the 121 grams found at the second home.
