Carabinieri arrested a 29-year-old man from Soccavo, identified in local reports as Adelchi Giuseppe Capone, during an operation at an alleged drug-dealing location on via Marco Aurelio in the Rione Traiano area of Naples.

According to the reports, officers intervened after observing suspicious movements in the area. The man was arrested in connection with alleged illegal possession of a firearm and possession of false documents.

What officers reportedly found

A personal search reportedly recovered €3,730 in small-denomination banknotes and a handwritten note described as drug-trade accounting.

A subsequent search of the man's home reportedly found a further €4,410, a .25-caliber pistol and ammunition. Officers also reportedly seized three Rolex watches of uncertain provenance, a counterfeit driving licence and a counterfeit electronic identity card.

What is not yet established

The reports state that ballistic checks were planned for the weapon and technical analysis was planned for the electronic identity card. The provenance of the watches remained under investigation.

The reports do not establish whether the suspect was later remanded in custody, released or made subject to another judicial measure. The alleged drug-dealing activity is reported as the context for the operation, not as a final conviction or completed prosecution, and the reports describe the operation as taking place during the night without giving an exact date and time.
