Temperatures will remain mild to warm for early October. Forecast daytime highs are 28°C in Benevento and Caserta, 26°C in Avellino and Naples, and 25°C in Salerno.
The morning will start cooler inland. Lows are expected to drop to 11°C in Benevento and 12°C in Avellino, while coastal areas and the plains should remain milder, between 19°C and 20°C.
Winds should generally be light, locally moderate. Inland areas will see easterly and northerly winds, while coastal areas can expect a shift to west-southwesterly winds during the middle of the day.
