Two 17-year-olds have been arrested after a sequence of four alleged armed robberies targeting fuel stations in the hinterland north of Naples.
According to Il Mattino, the reported pursuit began after a robbery at an IP station on viale Remo De Feo in Arzano and continued through Arzano, San Pietro a Patierno and Secondigliano.
Four police officers fell from service motorcycles during the pursuit and were treated for injuries. A related report put their prognoses at between 15 and 20 days.
Investigators seized €1,320 believed to be the proceeds from the four fuel-station robberies, along with a scooter with a falsified license plate and a firearm allegedly used during the attacks.
The same reporting mentions ten documented raids at a fuel station on via Limitone di Arzano. Investigators were examining whether the two teenagers were responsible for additional attacks, but the sources directly detail four alleged robberies. Responsibility for the wider sequence remains an investigative hypothesis.
Robberies targeting fuel stations in the wider Naples-Caserta area have also been investigated in prior cases involving minors, according to the State Police. That history provides context, but does not link those earlier cases to the current suspects.
The sources do not provide the suspects' names, the precise date of each alleged raid, or subsequent judicial decisions.
