Campania's Regional Civil Protection Functional Center has issued a yellow weather alert for thunderstorms, in effect from 1:00 PM on Friday, November 6, until 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
The alert covers most of the region, with three zones excluded: Zone 2, Alto Volturno and Matese; Zone 4, Alta Irpinia and Sannio; and Zone 7, Tanagro.
Locally intense rainfall is expected in the affected areas, with possible surface runoff, flooding, rising water levels in watercourses, rockfalls, and landslides.
Local authorities have been asked to implement the measures provided for in municipal civil protection plans and to activate Municipal Operations Centers.
