The eleventh Fishing Capri Island Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, 8 November 2026, at the Porto Turistico Marina di Capri.
The event is organized by the Capri association Battiti di Pesca and has been included in the Comune di Capri's Capri Sport Event programme.
The competition will use Bolognese and English fishing techniques. Under the tournament rules, fishing is catch-and-release: fish are validated by the judging commission and then returned to the sea.
Trabucco is associated with the awards ceremony, with Venturieri and Givova supporting the event.
The organizers present the tournament as combining sport, marine-environmental responsibility, legality, and appreciation of Capri's territory. The final number of participants and competition results have not yet been reported, as the event date was still forthcoming at the time of the initial 5 November 2026 report.
