Naples Metro Line 1's Duomo station has reached full operational functionality, with its second entrance now open to passengers.

Travellers can use both entrances from Piazza Nicola Amore: the entrance on the seafront side and the new upper entrance toward Via Duomo. The completion of the second access point finishes the technical works for the station entrances.

Lifts connect the station access area with the platforms, located approximately 29 metres below sea level.

Archaeological work linked to the reconstruction of the Temple of the Isolympic Games is continuing. The museum component is expected to be completed in 2028.

For visitors, the practical change is straightforward: Duomo is now accessible from both sides of Piazza Nicola Amore, improving connections between the station, Via Duomo and the area toward the waterfront.
