Several upper-secondary schools in Caserta have faced disruption linked to unfinished construction work and water infiltration, according to reporting by Il Mattino Caserta.

At the "Diaz" scientific high school, the situation appeared to reach an agreement between the parties after three days of protest. Students had requested an updated evacuation plan because of the presence of a construction site on the premises. They held a sit-in in the courtyard and temporarily stayed out of classrooms while awaiting the documentation.

Water infiltration affected two of the three buildings used by the Mattei-Ferraris institute. Two classrooms at the former Saint-Gobain site and a room at the Centurano headquarters were affected. The school reported the problems to the Province of Caserta, which said it would intervene directly at the viale Melvin Jones site and contact the property owner regarding the via Petrarca site.

Work affecting the Giannone high school was slightly delayed because an unforeseen intervention was required in classrooms renovated outside the PNRR works after discrepancies were found. The school reported receiving seven classrooms and a laboratory for the biomedical-science track at the former Saint-Gobain site, while temporary arrangements were planned through 3 November.

What remains unclear from the available reporting is the publication date of the original account, the final technical resolution of the infiltration problems, and whether the announced interventions and completion dates were met.
