A fire damaged a building materials depot in the viale Italia area, on the boundary between Capodrise and Recale in the province of Caserta. About 80 square metres of stored materials burned, including plastic pipes, paints and other combustible products. No injuries were reported.

What happened

The blaze affected the “Fratelli Nero” depot, described by local reports as located off viale Italia, in the border area between Capodrise and Recale. The fire involved stored construction materials, including plastic tubing, paint products and wooden pallets.

The burning materials produced a dense column of black smoke that was visible from a distance. Published reports do not give a single civic address, referring variously to viale Italia and the Capodrise–Recale boundary area.

Emergency response

Fire crews from Aversa and from the provincial fire command in Caserta responded with fire engines, including tanker support. According to the verified reports, firefighters worked to contain the blaze and secure the affected area.
