The Uruguayan defender was born in Montevideo on 31 October 1997 and is now in his fifth season with Napoli.
Olivera made his Napoli debut on 15 August 2022 in a 5–2 away win against Hellas Verona. Since then he has contributed to Napoli's third and fourth Serie A titles and one Italian Super Cup.
His Napoli contract runs until 30 June 2030.
