The Campania Region has opened a formal call for expressions of interest to map cycle-tourism routes and cycleways already present across the region.

The survey implements Regional Law No. 2 of 19 March 2025. Its purpose is to gather information on existing routes in Campania, as a first step toward an official regional recognition process.

Who can take part

Applications are open to public and private bodies, acting individually or jointly, including municipalities, provinces, park authorities, Local Action Groups (GAL), Pro Loco associations, cycle-tourism associations, consortia and businesses.

How and when to apply

Applications must be submitted online through the Region's digital service for cycle tourism.

Access requires authentication with SPID, CIE or CNS. Applicants complete the requested data, submit the required declarations and upload the documentation set out in the regional technical form.

The submission window runs from 00:00 on 26 October 2026 to 23:59 on 27 November 2026.

What submission does — and does not — mean

Submitting an application starts the administrative review, but it does not automatically mean the route will be recognised, nor does it guarantee access to funding measures.

The call does not yet publish a final list or regional classification of routes, and the information pages consulted do not indicate which routes will be admitted at the end of the review, or the detailed timetable and criteria for the subsequent technical assessment.

For operators, associations and local authorities that already manage or promote cycling itineraries in Campania, the current window is the point at which to make those routes visible to the Region.
