A new Ufficio di Prossimità has opened in Castellabate, in the province of Salerno, giving local residents a closer point of access to justice services.
The office was inaugurated on 24 September at 11:30 in the premises at Piazza Lucia 1. It falls within the district of the Tribunal of Vallo della Lucania.
The opening is part of the Campania Region's wider effort to strengthen its network of Proximity Offices and bring justice services closer to local communities.
What the office does
Proximity Offices are designed to make access to judicial services simpler, nearer and more inclusive. In Castellabate, as elsewhere in the regional network, the desk supports citizens with voluntary jurisdiction matters.
According to the Region, trained staff provide information, specialist guidance and support for judicial procedures. Operational desks in the network can also handle filings with the courts, helping residents avoid long trips to the competent tribunal.
