Representatives of the Partito Liberaldemocratico, Azione and the association Comunemente have started a joint political process in Benevento ahead of the next election for the renewal of the city's Municipal Council.
The meeting brought together Pasquale Tarricone, Vincenzo Regardi, Filomena Di Mezza, Pio Canu and Teresa Meccariello to compare programmes and ideas for the city.
According to the report, the participants found common ground on a method: listening to citizens' needs and placing them at the centre of Benevento's future vision.
The initiative is rooted in the liberal and reformist centre, but is explicitly presented as open. The programme-building process remains open to other political forces, associations, civic groups, professional categories and interested citizens.
The stated next step is to continue the discussion in an open forum and work toward shared priorities for Benevento.
