Napoli Basketball finished second at the Pajetta Memorial, losing the final 100–74 to PAOK Thessaloniki at the PalaCarnera in Udine.
Napoli reached the final after defeating Reggio Emilia in the semifinal, with a 97–88 win led by Ramsey's 28 points.
Against PAOK, Napoli trailed 19–26 after the first quarter, 44–50 at halftime, and 57–72 entering the fourth quarter before the Greek side closed out the 100–74 result.
Totè was Napoli's top scorer in the final with 18 points. Sankare and Caruso did not play and were rested as a precaution.
The defeat closed Napoli's first preseason phase. The team is scheduled to continue preparations with a tournament in Matera the following weekend.
