On Sunday, October 25, the ANPI section for Castellammare di Stabia, Gragnano and Pompei held its 2026 membership day at the Cassarmonica in the Villa Comunale.
The initiative was presented as a "Gazebo dialogante" — a gazebo for dialogue — where residents could talk with local historians and learn about episodes from the Resistance in the area.
The focus was on the biographies and wartime actions of local partisans and partisan women from Castellammare, Gragnano, Pompei and the Monti Lattari area.
During the morning, visitors could subscribe to or renew their ANPI membership for 2026.
Organizers described the event as an opportunity for open, participatory dialogue about antifascist memory and civic commitment.
