Sorrento Walks is back in November with two organised appointments across the Sorrento Peninsula, one in Massa Lubrense and one in Sorrento.

The programme continues the initiative promoted to help people discover the Sorrento Peninsula on foot, with walks organised in collaboration with Ianuae and Archeoclub Lubrense.

7 November: Passeggiata Lubrense

The first appointment is the Passeggiata Lubrense on 7 November, departing at 12:00 from the Belvedere dell’Annunziata in Massa Lubrense.

The walk includes visits to the Torrione and to Frantoio Gargiulo in Schiazzano.

22 November: Passeggiata Sorrentina

The second appointment is the Passeggiata Sorrentina on 22 November, departing at 09:30 from Piazza Tasso in Sorrento.

The walk follows circuit 22 toward the Casarlano hills. Route 22 is listed in the itinerary catalogue as “Villages of the Sorrento Valley,” starting and ending at Piazza Tasso.

What to expect on Route 22

For readers joining the 22 November walk, the official route details provide a useful reference. Itinerary 22 is a circular route measuring 5,300 metres, with approximately 194 metres of ascent and descent.

The route passes through rural and panoramic areas above Sorrento, including Casarlano, Cesarano, San Biagio and Via Casola. Along the way, the itinerary uses green waymarks and tiles.

Part of a wider walking network

SorrentoWalks is linked to the Tolomeo Project, a network connecting Sorrento with Massa Lubrense, Sant’Agata and other nearby destinations through coded walking itineraries.

That context matters for visitors: the November appointments are not isolated events, but part of a structured catalogue of routes designed for discovering the territory on foot and promoted through local public and environmental partners.

Advance booking requirements, participant limits and walk duration were not specified in the announcement. Readers planning to attend should check the official Sorrento Walks updates before setting out.
