Carabinieri have seized 1,355 prepared doses of drugs from the trunk of a parked car in località Aranciata Faito, in the Monti Lattari area of Castellammare di Stabia.
The seizure consisted of 655 doses of crack, 401 doses of marijuana and 299 doses of hashish, according to reports published on 26 September 2026.
Investigators also seized a precision scale, packaging material and a device used to detect possible surveillance or interception equipment.
The vehicle drew attention because it was parked in an isolated area and emitted a strong smell. A subsequent search uncovered the drugs and equipment in the trunk.
The operation formed part of Operation "Continuum Bellum 4," involving the Carabinieri Company of Castellammare di Stabia and the Helicopter Squadron "Cacciatori di Sardegna."
The seized material was placed under seizure while investigations continued into its provenance, the person who controlled the vehicle and its intended recipients. No suspect, vehicle owner or intended recipient has been identified in the reports available.
