The Campania Region is bringing international buyers back to Marcianise for the second edition of “Jewels of Campania,” a two-day incoming programme dedicated to the internationalisation of the regional goldsmith and jewellery sector.

The event is scheduled for 27–28 October 2026 at the Il Tarì Jewellery Centre in Marcianise, in the province of Caserta. It is promoted by the Campania Region with operational support from Sviluppo Campania, and is aimed at supporting Campanian companies in meeting selected European trade buyers.

39 companies from four Campanian districts

Thirty-nine companies are expected to take part, drawn from four local districts: Il Tarì, Oromare, Borgo Orefici, and the coral-and-cameo district of Torre del Greco.

Together, those districts cover much of the structure of jewellery-making in Campania, from goldsmith production and wholesale centres to Naples’ historic goldsmith quarter and Torre del Greco’s specialist coral and cameo workshops. The initiative supports the internationalisation of companies from these regional jewellery districts by placing them in direct contact with buyers during structured business meetings.

European buyers and B2B meetings

Selected buyers are reported as coming from Germany, Portugal, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Luxembourg and France.

The format is a professional incoming B2B programme. The published schedule places buyer arrivals on 26 October, B2B activities at Il Tarì on 27 and 28 October, and departures on 29 October. The programme combines structured B2B meetings with visits connected to training, jewellery history and Campanian craftsmanship, including a visit to jewellery training schools, a cultural tour and an institutional dinner.

Readers should note that the detailed schedule published for international operators is described as preliminary and subject to change, and the available sources do not establish the final number of attending buyers or the final participating-company list.

Beyond business: 74 historic jewels on display

Alongside the commercial meetings, the programme includes “Il Tempo dell’oro,” an exhibition of 74 historic jewels covering Neapolitan and southern jewellery from 1800 to 2000.

For visitors and trade participants alike, the exhibition provides historical context for the contemporary production on show in the B2B sessions, linking present-day Campanian craftsmanship to two centuries of southern Italian jewellery design.

A longer regional plan

Local reporting also points to a longer-term regional commitment. The Campania Region is planning a 2027 project intended to showcase Campanian jewellery and high-level artistic craftsmanship nationally and internationally, alongside goals concerning security and training.

In that sense, the second edition at Il Tarì is presented not as an isolated fair, but as part of a continuing effort to give regional goldsmith and artistic craftsmanship greater visibility abroad.
