Pompei will host "Pompei in Rosa" from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026, with a health village in Piazza Schettini offering free specialist visits and screenings.
The initiative is promoted by the City of Pompei as part of the "Pompei in Salute" project. The main venue is the Villaggio della Salute in Piazza Schettini, where the programme includes free specialist visits and screenings, subject to booking availability.
Listed services include breast examinations, gynaecological visits with Pap tests, cardiological checks with electrocardiograms, pneumological visits with spirometry, dermatological, nutritional, psychological, physiotherapeutic and osteopathic consultations, as well as ultrasound examinations and bone-density tests.
The programme also includes public talks at the Museo Temporaneo d'Impresa and wellbeing activities such as yoga, pilates and aerial dance.
A presentation press conference is scheduled for Friday 23 October at 16:00 in the council chamber of the Casa Comunale. The first day is scheduled to conclude at 20:00 with the pink illumination of the Casa Comunale and the Campanile del Santuario della Beata Vergine del Rosario.
The event is scheduled to conclude on Sunday 25 October with the "Marcia in Rosa", with registrations expected from 11:00 and departure at 12:00.
