Officers from the Avellino Mobile Squad arrested a 42-year-old woman from the Valle Caudina area on 28 October 2026 on suspicion of drug dealing, according to IrpiniaNews.
Police reportedly arrested the woman in flagrante delicto after observing the handover of a heat-sealed package containing 3.20 grams of cocaine in exchange for 150 euros.
A subsequent search of her home reportedly uncovered two precision scales, a vacuum-sealing machine, packaging material, and 420 euros in small-denomination banknotes. The items and cash were seized.
The woman was placed under house arrest pending a validation hearing.
