A 40-year-old Gambian man was arrested by officers of the Avellino Questura's Squadra Volanti in connection with allegations that he assaulted and robbed his former partner.
The man was also reported to judicial authorities for refusing to provide his identity, violating a Questore order to leave Italy, and carrying objects capable of causing harm without justification.
Following the validation hearing, the investigating judge of the Court of Avellino validated the arrest. The precautionary measure imposed was the obligation to report to the judicial police.
The measures were coordinated with the Avellino Public Prosecutor's Office within the "Codice Rosso" framework for cases involving domestic and gender-based violence.
