Avellino will host the fourth edition of "Diabete Irpinia," a scientific conference promoted by ASL Avellino, on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026 at Hotel Bel Sito.
The two-day event is dedicated to diabetes and related conditions, with a focus on the link between obesity and type 2 diabetes and on cardiovascular, metabolic and renal risks.
According to the local report, the programme will cover precision therapies, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pumps, MASLD, genetics, semaglutide, gestational diabetes and dyslipidaemias, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary care and new therapeutic approaches.
