Judge Antonio Pasquariello has been indicated for the vacant presidency of the Civil Section of the Tribunal of Vallo della Lucania.
According to IrpiniaNews, the indication came from the Fifth Commission of the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura (CSM), Italy's High Council of the Judiciary, which voted unanimously. The appointment is not yet final and must still be examined by the CSM Plenum.
Pasquariello, 44, is a magistrate in the Civil Division of the Tribunal of Avellino and is originally from the Salerno area. The presidency in Vallo della Lucania has been vacant since March, following the transfer of the previous officeholder, Dr Bellantoni.
The nomination would mark a return for Pasquariello, who previously served in the Civil Division of the Tribunal of Vallo della Lucania from 2017 to 2021.
No date or outcome for the Plenum's final decision had been reported at the time of publication.
