An LPG-powered car caught fire on the morning of Wednesday 21 October 2026 while travelling along Via Arcella in Montefredane, in the province of Avellino.
Firefighters from the Avellino Command intervened to extinguish the flames. Crews secured the area and carried out cleanup operations once the fire was out.
The response prevented the flames from spreading to other passing vehicles or nearby structures.
Only the female driver was in the car at the time. No injuries were reported.
Carabinieri and Local Police officers were also present for the relevant procedures. The cause of the fire has not been reported.
