More than 1,600 Salernitana supporters travelled through the Avellino area toward Barletta for the Serie C match Barletta–Salernitana, according to IrpiniaNews.

The fans made the journey in dozens of minibuses, private cars and coaches. Police and Carabinieri put public-order and surveillance services in place from the afternoon until late night to manage the transit.

Controls covered the Avellino–Salerno link road and the A16 Napoli–Bari motorway. Officers monitored the Mirabella and Calaggio service areas, the Atripalda junction, the A16 connection at Manocalzati, and the Montoro, Solofra and Serino exits.

IrpiniaNews reports that the passage took place without critical incidents, allowing supporters to continue safely toward Barletta.
