Staff at the Metellia collection centre in Cava de' Tirreni found a wallet containing documents and €3,000 in cash inside a cash register that had been dropped off for disposal, and returned it to its owner.
The owner had delivered the cash register to the centre without realizing the wallet was still inside it. The discovery and return took place on a Monday morning at the collection centre on Via Ugo Foscolo.
Metellia linked the employees' conduct to ongoing training focused on users, attention and commitment to their work.
