A car carrying two people struck two wild boars on the Cilentana road near Clinica Cobellis, in an incident reported as happening at night.

According to Il Mattino, the vehicle was carrying a man and a woman when it struck the animals. The car left the roadway and sustained extensive damage, particularly to its front section.

The two occupants reportedly did not suffer serious injuries. One of the boars involved was found dead beside the road the following morning. The condition of the second animal was not reported.

A separate local report from Giornale del Cilento describes a similar wild-boar collision at the same location, with major vehicle damage and no injuries, although it is unclear whether it refers to the same incident or a different one.

The reports point to recurring concern about wild boars entering roads in the Cilento area. No official police, emergency-service, or road-authority statement confirming the details was available in the research. The direction of travel, exact time, and identities of the occupants were also not reported.
