A young man was allegedly assaulted and struck in the face with a stone in the Acquamela area of Baronissi, in the province of Salerno, on the morning before the report by Il Mattino.
According to the report, the incident followed alleged damage to several parked cars between Aiello and Acquamela, including the victim's own vehicle. The young man reportedly confronted the suspect inside his garage.
During the confrontation, he was allegedly hit in the face with a stone. He reportedly lost consciousness for several minutes and was also bitten on a finger.
He was transported to the Gaetano Fucito hospital in Curteri, in the municipality of Mercato San Severino, for treatment. The precise nature of his injuries and prognosis were not reported.
