Thieves targeted the outdoor area of the Acqua&Sale fish restaurant in Scafati overnight, taking benches, decorative wooden boats used as displays, and light bulbs from the exterior lighting system.
The restaurant is led by chef Giorgio Vitiello. According to Il Mattino Salerno, Vitiello said the incident was captured on the property's surveillance system and documented with photographs that could help identify those responsible.
Vitiello demanded the complete return of the stolen furnishings and ornaments, warning that he would file a formal complaint with the authorities if they were not returned.
It has not been confirmed whether the items were returned, whether a formal complaint was ultimately filed, or who was responsible. The value of the stolen property has also not been specified.
