A Smart car caught fire during the night in Corso Italia, in Acerra, and was completely destroyed by the flames.

No injuries were reported.

Carabinieri from the Acerra station responded to the scene. Investigators are carrying out checks to establish how the fire started and what caused it.

Based on the information available so far, a deliberately set fire has not been ruled out. The cause remains unconfirmed while the investigation continues.
