Two residential burglaries reported on the outskirts of Boscoreale, in the Naples metropolitan area, have led to a pre-trial custody order against a 27-year-old suspect.

According to Il Mattino, the stolen property in the two cases included an electric scooter and an electric bicycle. The suspect, described as a foreign national without a residence permit, is accused of aggravated residential burglary.

The investigation was coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata. The custody order was issued by the court in Torre Annunziata at the prosecutor's request.

Investigators built the case on footage from private surveillance systems, statements given by the alleged victims, and identifications, according to the report.

The order was served at Poggioreale prison in Naples, where the 27-year-old was already detained in connection with another case.

No further details were reported about the exact dates or addresses of the burglaries, whether the stolen vehicles were recovered, or the suspect's identity. The allegations remain subject to judicial assessment, and the presumption of innocence applies.
