Naples will host the "Napoli Città Anticamorra" march on Thursday, 8 October 2026, with temporary traffic restrictions along the march route in the morning.

The meeting point and start are set at Largo della Cittadinanza Attiva. From there the procession will move through Via della Resistenza, Via Valerio Verbano and Via Antonio Labriola, continue along Via Tancredi Galimberti and finish in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II.

Transit ban from 10:00

From 10:00 on 8 October, vehicle transit will be prohibited on the streets affected by the march for the time needed for the procession to pass.

Emergency vehicles and law-enforcement vehicles are exempt from the transit ban.

Drivers who need to cross that area should plan to travel before 10:00, delay their trip until after the march has passed, or use alternative streets outside the procession route. The closure is rolling in nature: it applies while the march passes, rather than for the whole day.

No-parking zones from 8:00 to 11:00

Parking will be more strictly controlled earlier in the morning. From 8:00 to 11:00, parking with forced removal will be prohibited in:

  • the parking area of Largo della Cittadinanza Attiva
  • Via Valerio Verbano

Anyone who normally parks in these areas should move their car the evening before or early in the morning before 8:00 to avoid removal.

Vehicles displaying disabled badge "H" are excluded from the parking ban.

What to check before you go

The City of Naples order covers the route, times and parking exemptions described above. It does not specify expected attendance, march organisers, or public-transport diversions.

If you are travelling by bus or need step-free access, check the latest updates from the City of Naples on the morning of 8 October, as last-minute traffic adjustments cannot be ruled out.

In short: avoid parking in Largo della Cittadinanza Attiva and Via Valerio Verbano between 8:00 and 11:00, expect the transit ban from 10:00 along the route to Piazza Giovanni Paolo II, and allow extra time if you are driving in that part of Naples.
