A young female passenger suddenly lost consciousness aboard a scheduled bus in Capri, according to Il Mattino Napoli.
Antonio Lombardo, a physical-education teacher at IISS Axel Munthe in Anacapri, was travelling on the same bus. When the young woman lost consciousness, Lombardo intervened to assist her.
He placed her in a suitable position for assistance, monitored her condition and carried out the measures he considered necessary while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
