Former Napoli players are preparing to take to the streets of Pozzuoli in support of residents displaced by the Campi Flegrei earthquake emergency.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli Legends, the association that brings together former Napoli players from different eras, has announced a public march in Pozzuoli on Monday 26 at 11:00. The initiative is titled "Napoli Legends per Pozzuoli: non vi lasciamo soli."

A 2.5-kilometre march of solidarity

The planned march covers approximately 2.5 kilometres. The announced route includes via Terracciano, via Artiaco, piazza Capomazza and via Campi Flegrei.

Organizers present the event both as a gesture of solidarity and as a public appeal to the institutions involved in managing the displacement crisis.

Support for more than 4,000 displaced people

The initiative is intended to support more than 4,000 people displaced following the earthquake of 31 July in the Campi Flegrei area. Il Mattino also cites a beginning-of-September figure of 4,217 displaced people, with the rounded figure of more than 4,000 used in its headline and narrative.

Donations connected with the march are to be directed to the Caritas Diocesana di Pozzuoli.

The report describes a planned initiative; its completion and attendance remain to be confirmed.
