Officers from the Guardia di Finanza station in Capri stopped a young Capri resident in the Piazzetta during territorial security checks, according to Il Mattino.

During the stop, officers reportedly found about 18 grams of marijuana in his possession. The man, described in the report only as around 20 years old, was not named.

He was taken to the Guardia di Finanza premises in Marina Grande for formal procedures. He was then reported at liberty for possession of narcotics.

The original report suggests the substance was possibly intended for sale on the local market, but presents that as an investigative hypothesis. No evidence establishing intent to sell was provided, and no further judicial developments were reported.
