On 18 September, the young people of the Centro Educativo "Bartolo Longo" of the Sanctuary of Pompei walked onto the pitch of the Stadio Romeo Menti in Castellammare di Stabia alongside the players of Juve Stabia and Cesena for the official pre-match presentation.
The occasion was the league match between Juve Stabia and Cesena. The children and young people from the Centre accompanied both teams as they entered the field.
The initiative was presented as an experience connected to the educational values of sport, including social inclusion, friendship and respect.
The Centro Educativo "Bartolo Longo" supports children and young people in situations of vulnerability, offering educational, formative and social support. It is part of the social works of the Sanctuary of Pompei, continuing the tradition founded by Saint Bartolo Longo.
