Carabinieri from the Napoli Bagnoli Operational Unit have carried out a precautionary operation involving 31 people domiciled in Rione Traiano, Pianura and Fuorigrotta.
The measure was issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge in Naples at the request of the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
According to the report, the suspects are seriously suspected of criminal association aimed at drug trafficking, aggravated by the mafia method and by the aim of facilitating the Petrone/Puccinelli Camorra organization operating in Rione Traiano, Soccavo.
Further details of the operation were expected to be presented by the Naples Public Prosecutor at a press conference.
